Company Profile

Overview

picture

From small beginnings in 1984, M&J Engineering has grown to where, today, the company is well established as a leading supplier of custom designed systems for bulk materials handling. Initially the company manufactured equipment for the underground mining industry including feeder breakers and surge bunker bins. The company also gained a reputation for round link (Ox) chain conversions for shuttle cars. Valuable experience in the flow of irregular shaped bulk solids enabled M&J Engineering to harness this expertise to provide solutions for the design and operation of belt conveying systems.

Its first success story was the development of conveyor belt drive. This was enabled by the company’s understanding of the harsh operating conditions within the mining industry.

The development of the WEBA Chute Systems enabled M&J Engineering to become a formidable force in the bulk materials handling industry. The level of customer confidence gained in the design of the WEBA Chute has resulted in it being specified for major projects and plant expansions.
